30 teams from 30 University from all Republic. (14 teams - second division and 16 teams for the first devision).
The final match was played by "Gomel State University" (Gomel) vs "Belarusian National Technical University" (Minsk).

The final score was 7 -1 for the "Gomel State University"

AMF (World Futsal Association), organized by Canadian Futsalon Association (FUTSALCA) and Toronto Futsal Association: Costa Rica National Team competes with Team Canada, Ontario and All-Stars Toronto, on Saturday December 3 and Sunday December 4, 2011.

Team Canada will have great players too, convocated from all-stars and varsity teams from University of Toronto, York University, University of Ottawa, University of Halifax, among others, as well as stars from OWSL (Ontario Women's Soccer League), Toronto District Association and Toronto Central Soccer League, too.

Team Canada will be coached by instructor Juan Carlos Cordero.

Carlos Quiroga, former professional Argentinean players, will put in scene a young but powerful squad for Ontario, and Golazo will have a great conglomerate with women's players from Humber College and OSWL.

FUTSAL ASSOCIATION (SINGAPORE) is the national futsal entity from SINGAPORE.
A Southeast Asian city‐state off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula.
FUTSAL ASSOCIATION (SINGAPORE) aka FA(S) has come a long way to become the entity of futsal direction in Singapore. Following the lack of support over the promotion of futsal, the new association was formed in December 2008 to position itself as the function to promote futsal as the official indoor game in Singapore.
Futsal Association (Singapore) is officially affiliated to World Futsal Association (AMF).

The future Southeast Asia Futsal Federation will become the latest regional entity of futsal in Southeast Asia countries in support of World Futsal Association.
The goal of FA(S) is to educate the public and promote awareness on the
understanding of futsal. FA(S) aims to provide technical knowledge and expertise to encourage every community participating in their own futsal programme.
FA(S) is responsible for the development of the futsal programme in Singapore and offers some opportunities to every futsaler who are not available in the traditional five‐a‐side sport. The mission is to reach out

Cameroon Admitted to World Futsal Association :

Futsal in Cameroon has gained international recognition with the admission of the National Futsal League into the World Futsal Association (AMF). The admission which went into effect on March 7, will be ratified at the congress of the World Futsal Association (AMF) to take place in Paraguay in November 2011. According to the President of the National Futsal League, Colonel Kuitche Roger, their enrolment with the world futsal association means a clean break from FIFA and consequently Fecafoot as both organisations do not accept that an association should belong to FIFA and AMF at the same time just as in boxing where one cannot belong to the WBA and UBA at the same time.
He said the National league, not to be confused with the National Futsal Commission, a structure under Fecafoot, will now embark on the reconversion of players, trainers and officials of futsal in, Cameroon to the regulations of the World Futsal association which are slightly different from those of the International futsal federation attached to FIFA. In this light, he said the upcoming futsal tournament for companies to take place on April 29 and 30, will be the last tournament to be played according to the FIFA version of the game.

He equally disclosed that the affiliation to WFA will open the way for the National league to take part in international competitions organised by the world body.

Colombia has won the AMF Futsal World Cup for the second time after beating defending champions Paraguay 8-2 in Saturday's final.

Host country Colombia dominated from the start in Bogota, and opened the scoring after exactly two minutes of play when Jhon Pinilla beat the opposing goalkeeper with a powerful effort into the roof of the goal.

Camilo Gomez doubled the advantage five minutes later, scoring from close range after a low assist from Pinilla.

Paraguay were busier protesting and arguing than trying to cut back the deficit, allowing Colombia to make it 3-0 through William Estupiñan in the 12th minute.

The Paraguayans did pull one back seconds later, but Colombia restored the three-point gap in the 19th minute as a subtle effort from Pinilla set the score to 4-1.

The first part of the second half wasn't as eventful, as Colombia calmly defended their now comfortable lead. But handling from a Paraguayan defender had a penalty as result in the tenth minute, and although Jorge Cuervo had his spot kick saved by goalkeeper Meza, he did find the target on the second rebound.

And a minute later, Pinilla scored his third of the night after receiving the ball from Cuervo, leaving the match all but decided. Paraguay made it 6-2 minutes later, but never actually went on to threaten Colombia's lead.

In fact, Cuervo made it 7-2 with just over three minutes left to go, and in the final minutes, Estupiñan scored his second from outside the penalty area for an 8-2 final score.

This is Colombia's second AMF World Title after winning the tournament before in Bolivia 2000.

Paraguay had won the two editions between then and this year's tournament.

To reach the final of this year's World Cup, Colombia advanced from a group with Belarus, Ecuador and New Zealand, before beating Venezuela in the quarter finals and Argentina in the semi's.

Earlier on Saturday, Argentina beat Russia to secure third place.

More than 350 journalist were credited for the World Cup of Futsal, that will be realised from the 15 to the 26 of March in the cities of Bogota, Bello, Bucaramanga and Villavicencio.

If there is something it has guaranteed the World Cup of Futsal, besides the sport success, is the attending of the mass media. The interest to be part of the team of journalists, TV and photographers who will also work during the contest had international echo.
To Columbia will come journalists from Paraguay, Brazil and Venezuela, besides the representatives of media of each of the 16 teams that will participate in the World Cup. The instructors of AMF will be José Bernal (Paraguay) and Odilio Gimenez (Argentina).

New Zealand Head to Futsal World Cup:

This week will see the New Zealand Men head to Bogota, Colombia to round out preparations for the Tenth Futsal World Cup.

The side qualified for the event after defeating Australia on penalties in Kuala Lumpur last October. Since this time the side has had plenty to deal none least the devastating earthquake in Christchurch.

The side will train and play some friendlies in Bogota in the lead up to their first game against Belarus on March 16th.

Coach Gui Costa is very confident the side has the capability of upsetting sides and forcing a way into the 2nd round. "I have been looking at tapes of our opponents and they are beatable". "I believe if the guys play to their best and work hard for each other they will surprise teams".

This is the first time a New Zealand side has contested the Futsal World Cup and will no doubt go into the tournament has underdogs but with the view they have nothing to lose and everything to gain.The New Zealand Futsal Community wishes them well.

In the capital of Meta the official launching of the World Cup of futsal was realised, where it appeared the mascot Mico-Micro and the trophy, that will take the name of Jaime Arroyave.
In the Hotel “El Campanario” was realised the official launching of the X World Cup of Futsal, where sixteen (16) teams will play for the glory, to dispute the title of the orbital contest.
In the event of the launching was present the president of the Colombian Federation of Futsal, Manuel Sanchez and the retinue of the contest, like the sport leaders of the city and the department as well as the sport press of the region.
The mascot officially made its presence of the X World Cup of Futsal, Mico - Micro, like the trophy of the match, which took the name of Jaime Arroyabe, the “Pantaleón” known in the Futsal scope, is the top leader who always was pawned to have a World Cup in Columbia, realising that dream in a reality.
The president of the Federation of Futsal, Manuel Sanchez, confirmed; " I am more than satisfied and confirm once again, that we were not mistaken with Villavicencio and with his Mayor, who is it jeopardize with this world cup, where Llano is not only going to show their good performance all Colombia will show it, by its unconditional support to this sport, because every day that happens, people continue growing her liking and the love for Futsal".
