Sunday 14th September 2008 at 14.30 will begin the Final of ITALIAN WOMEN SUPERCOPPA that will be played at the Sport Stadium of Albanella (Province of Salerno) between the two teams:

. FUTSAL CAGLIARI (CA - Sardegna) that is the winner of the Cop of Italy ‘2008

. POL CERRETO SANNITA (BN - Campania) the winner of the Italian Championship for the sportive season 2007/2008.

Mr. Duranti Andrea from Salerno and Mr. Todaro Leonardo from Milano

The Winner will participate to the “UEFS Women European Cup ” which will be played in Bergamo (North Italy) from 4th to 8th November 2008.

AUSTRALIAN WOMENS TEAM OFF TO WORLD CUP:

The Womens National Futsal Team is preparing for the first Womens Futsal World Cup to take place in Reus(CATALONIA) this year. The tournament will run from the 29th September to the 6th of October and Australia is in a group with Italy and Paraguay group,with the top two progressing to the quarter - final.

The World Cup will be attended by 12 teams that qualified last month, Australia is going as the top team in Asia. The countries involved are: Argentina, Australia, Brasil, Colombia, Eslovakia, Italy, Galicia, Catalonia, Paraguay, Czech Republic, Russia and Venezuela.

The players representing Australia are:

Coach Gui Costa is happy with the progress of trainings and hopes the team will be ready for their 1st game on the 30th of September in Reus when they face Italy.
“We have a good bunch of players that have been playing the game for a long time. It won’t be an easy task playing against the powerhouse of Futsal in Europe, but I think that we can surprise a lot of people”

The president of CONACFUTSAL, ing. Wilfrido Coffi, solicits the Final of the Intercontinental Cup of Clubs in Curazao, Dutch Antilles. To be held in the first months of 2.009.
It will be the first time that a international AMF game take part in the Dutch Antilles, Mr. Coffi, president of the Futsal Federation of Curaçao, is at the same time the president of the Central , North America and Caribbean confederation (CONACFUTSAL)

Sant Lukas futsal the representant of Dutch Antilles in the last Panamerican Cup. Held in Venezuela.
